Mastering Emotional intelligence

Emotional Intelligence (EI) is a crucial skill set that significantly impacts personal and professional success. This course delves into the intricacies of EI, providing practical guidance and exercises to enhance your emotional intelligence.

We'll start by understanding the fundamental components of EI—self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and relationship management—and focus on each specific component with insightful explanations, real-life examples, and actionable strategies to help you cultivate and master emotional intelligence.

By the end of the course, you'll not only have a deeper understanding of emotional intelligence but also access to resources and practical skills to apply in various personal and professional arenas. Whether you're aiming to improve your leadership abilities, enhance your relationships, or navigate challenging situations with ease, this course equips you with the tools necessary to get started.

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Define emotional intelligence

  • Discuss the brain’s impact on emotional intelligence

  • Identify the four main components of emotional intelligence

  • Employ the emotional intelligence tool to identify your Emotional Intelligence Quotient (EQ) and your personal strengths and weaknesses

  • Define the two “self” skills of EI

  • Define the two social/relationship skills of EI

  • Identify the impact of virtual experiences on the social/relationship aspects of EI

  • Develop a list of actionable strategies to increase your EI quotient

Attendance

Registered participants who fail to attend a class ('no-shows') will be charged full class cost. The 'no-show' fee may not be used as a credit for another EN class, or other type of event or service.

Cancellations made less than 5 business days prior to start of class time will be charged the full class cost. Substitutions are welcome.
