Positive Employee Relations Training - Lawful Conversations for Leaders ™

PML® Consultants company leaders may face today. Up-to-date, “live-fire” skills practice and role-playing helps to raise leaders’ confidence level when addressing questions or concerns, lawfully and effectively, about unions and workplace issues with associates. Our module facilitates discussion and feedback about observed behaviors and lawful (or unlawful) messaging to educate and influence associates about unions, collective bargaining, and the company preference for maintaining direct relationships.

Learning Objectives

▪ Experiential learning about the best ways to effectively converse with associates, educate and influence them about unions, and the inconvenient truths of collective bargaining in the U.S.

▪ “Live fire” role playing and skills practice using scenarios that we create based upon contemporary and real, potential campaign issues. Scenarios include discussion of messaging with leaders to enable decision-making about the best, most effective messaging for use in a real campaign.

▪ How to deal with difficult employee disruptions, social media posts, celebrity and outside pressure, and potential interventions.

▪ Empathetic ways to respectfully acknowledge, ask questions about and lawfully answer difficult associate questions about unions and collective bargaining.

▪ Enhanced knowledge about and confidence to effectively converse with associates in a manner consistent with new interpretations by the NLRB of the National Labor Relations Act.
